The model AC5000E is great once you break it in for about a week. This review is for the Model AC5000E machine. The filters are excellent. They catch a lot of dirt. The machine itself is way better than the previous air cleaner I had. It does an excellent job freshening the air. It is quiet. I have it beside my easy chair and on low speed it does not bother my listening to my TV. I really like how compact it is, only takes up about a foot square. If you are on carpet I recommend placing it on a board for stability. I like the blue light on it. It is no brighter than a nightlight and looks kind of cool like a Doctor Who robot. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is the break in period. It's a shame that the factory does not "burn in " these things for a week before shipping and avoid all the bad reviews. Everything the other reviews said about the bad smell when you first turn it on is unfortunately true.
