Good product, good price, comparable to conventional filters in price, better in quality
The AC system in my house has two return air vents - a large normal one, and a 10 by 10 inch in the Master Bedroom! Yeah, weird! Ever tried to buy a 10 by 10 inch regular air filter? If you can find one, it costs almost double what a standard size filter costs! for that and other reasons, I converted to this sponge air system, which consists of an aluminum frame with heavy duty fabric on the top side (Which allows the air to flow thru but doesn't allow the sponge filter to be sucked into the system) and every 2 months I take them down, pull and dispose of the old filter, press a new one in, and it's done!

The only downside is that you have to buy a year's worth of filters all at one time - kind of a punch to the old budget! This year I actually considered going back to the "conventional" filter system, but when I shopped prices, I found the cost to be quite comparable, and that to get comparable prices, you have to buy the conventional filters in bulk, like 4...
