Since I often remodel small areas such as kitchens and bathrooms, and often have to carry these up to a second or third floor, I prefer these to other larger machines I have used in the past. I also like the fact that the housings are plastic and have rounded edges so I won't gouge a wall or door if I bump into something. Also the fact that these have outlets on them to plug in additional units or other tools is very useful. The foam plug for the inlet hole is a great feature for preventing the dust from falling out as you carry a dirty machine through the house. They are a bit noisy at any power setting and I wish the tether for the foam plug was longer. I researched these machines online for a long time and I think these are the best value out there. I will be buying more.
