This Unit Died in less than 3 Months
We purchased the PZ1 in late June 2013 to replace an older one that we had had for several years, but which the grandkids had knocked off its mount so it had been flooded and shorted out. This one was a newer one with a "better seal" and we affixed it in a place the grandkids couldn't reach. We plugged it in in late June. Then on September 13 we noticed that the bulb no longer came on when the hot tub (a soft tub) cycled. I checked it and the bulb had burned out. While the warranty is good for two years, Amazon would not accept returns after August 5, 2013. We are currently pursuing warranty replacement with the manufacturer.

Unit died twice, waiting for warranty repair confirmation
The first PZ1 was installed 4/2012 and lasted until 9/12. Cost me $14 and almost 2 weeks downtime to send it back to Prozone for warranty repair. Failed again 11/2013 and now waiting to hear if Prozone will warranty the unit again. I would have given only 2 stars if Prozone had not done the warranty repair the first time. If they repair again under warranty, I will leave the 3 stars.

I see that Del Ozone offers repair kits for some of their ozonators, but I cant find any kits for the Prozone. I will switch to Del if warranty repair is refused this time around.
