I have two old signature edition unit which lasted 5 years and still in good working condition. I bought 2 new units hoping they are better quality because they are newer. I guess I was wrong to believe that. Anyway, one unit will not turn on (broken) as usual right after the 30 days Amazon return policy expires. For anyone interested information, this broken unit has a defective pc board which is rare and not under the Oreck's limited warranty. Check with Oreck for details of parts covered or money out of your pocket and unlucky like me. It will cost $40 labor plus parts to fix which may cost more than my purchase price. The information was given to me from the Oreck repairman at the Oreck authorized service center where I have my broken unit and decide not to spend money to fix.
