I have tried many other products - Ionic Breeze and Hepa filters, none of them worked. But my Biozone does! I smoke a lot in my bedroom, and it NEVER smells like it the next day -not a trace of ciggy smell. And the bulbs are supposed to last about a year? Well, mine's been going strong for one year now, and no signs of "weakening" yet. These bulbs are a little tough to remove (for cleaning or replacing); at first, I worried about having to pull so hard on the bulb, but it didn't break so I guess it just takes a little getting used to. I love this product!!!
