I will tell you what, this machine kicked my allergies to the curb. I have owned this product for about 4 months and usually in the spring my allergies get so bad that I have to walk around in a medicated haze! Not this year. I can tell a very big difference from when I leave the house and when I am at home with my new best friend. Surround Air has gotten themselves a great product here. I would recommend this to anyone. Not only does it help with my allergies, but it makes the room fresher and helps clear out dust. Works well enough I tried this air purifier on a friend's recommendation and keep it in the bedroom. I like that it has various speed settings so that if you use the highest setting you are also getting a "white noise" maker since it's pretty loud. Unfortunately, when you run it on this setting you also have to clean/vacuum the filter often since it seems to trap dirt quickly. I wish it could do this without my having to open the unit and vacuum it once a week,but I suppose it's better that it's being trapped in the unit than being breathed in.
