Its noise is comparable with the noise of my existing air purifier running at low speed. 2. When running at high speed, it's even noisier than my existing one and is almost unbearable. 3. It does look nicer, but I'm not sure if that's enough to justify the high price. I would think $150 as a fair price given its modern design. But I definitely wouldn't recommend anyone to buy it at $350. ========================================= Update: Yesterday I got an email from Brondell indicating that I should have removed the plastic wrapper of the filters.
