I love this Oreck purifier!! I have 3 cats and 3 dogs. One of my dogs is very old and another is a puppy, they both have accidents on my wood floors. My house started smelling like a kennel, even after mopping. After I started running the Oreck 24 hrs. a day, there is such as difference, not even a slight odor in the air (Even after the house has been closed up all day long and I come home to little puddles). It's very attractive and quiet on the lowest setting, and thats all I need to reduce the the odor in my large open plan living room/dining room. My sister loves how it worked in my house and purchased one and placed it next to her daughter's rat cage, what a difference this product has made for those of us who live with our animal friends!

Great product, but found it for $100 at Walmart after paying about $150 on amazon.

Made a big difference in my office Bought this unit after my doctor recommended I get an air purifier for my home office. Did the research, found this unit had all the right specs, and gave it a shot. I was very quickly able to tell the difference - air is fresh, less dust in the room, and my allergies have improved. It has 3 speeds - Low is very quiet (although not silent) and allows me to keep the unit on while I am using my speakerphone. High is pretty loud, so I normally switch it to high over night to get maximum refresh while I am not in there. Looks like the filters will last 6 months - so annual cost not including power will be $75~$85 dollars, which I am more than willing to pay since the unit is doing what it says it should. Considering adding a few more units around the house, which is as strong of an endorsement as I can make.
