If you turn it up too much it can be a little overwhelming and then you have to turn it back down. It does seem to be refreshing the home. We have six Fur children and we cannot smell the pets at all. Although we couldn't smell them before we got it at least now it has more of a fresh smell. It feels like it's cooler and more refreshing in the air inside. There is a HEPA filter attached to the back and we are very pleased that it came with this product. Many others we checked into did not. I think you will be pleased as long as you keep it on a lower setting. the one thing I was not happy with this purchase place was that the first one we paid 149 for it and the second one the same day we had to pay 179. They were down to one left and I guess they raised the price when it goes to only one left. It was very disappointing. So I give it a four star for that...

100% satisfied - worked where other air purifiers failed in a large, musty basement. Worked like a charm. I live in a 140+ year old house with a musty basement. I have tried everything to deal with the odor with no success, including other so-called air purifier machines. Within a few hours of putting this system in my basement, the smell was neutralized. It leaves a fresh, clean scent that is pleasant but hard to describe. It has been operating for about a week now and the smell I have been trying to get rid of for years s gone. I am 100% satisfied.
