What I didn't expect was how bad my old filters were. Now that I see the nice shiny new one I realize the olds ones must oxidize or get some kind of deposits on them even with regular cleaning. My air cleaner takes two of these and it didn't seem right to put the new shiny one in there with the other old one so I ordered a second one. Oh and luckily they package these pretty good as the box was partially crushed but the filter inside was ok.
