There is no way to debug the unit. The only test is to push the red button and listen for a "pop". After calling tech support they said it was most likely the power supply circuit board since "they tend to break". It will be $95 for the first 30min and $25 for every 15 minutes thereafter to have a warrenty qualified tech come take a look at it. As for the products ability to filter the air I have not noticed anything improvements over a standard filter system. I would not purchase this again, it seems like a waste of money for such little return.

Removes almost all dust, pollutants, pollen from indoor air and is advertised to remove most airborne bacteria . Has made a significant difference to a family member that has severe COPD. Easy to maintain and no sparking noises from the electronic part of this three filter machine.Great for the price and a must have for people that have allergies or lung issues.Professional installation is recommended.
