Initially when I received it and had to clean it for the first time, I was not happy. Its not the easiest to clean. (Especially if you are a smoker) Upon researching, I found, of coarse Orecks Cell cleaner for a ridiculous price. I started digging into other's reviews on their product. I have found purchasing couple bottles of some good old fashion Rubbing Alcohol to be the best cleaner imaginable. I have a bin, about the same size as the Cell, I fill it with the Alcohol and let it sit for a little bit. Pull it out, rub a couple Q-tips along it, rinse it off and BOOM back in business with an almost as clean as new Cell but for only a couple dollars to clean. (I buy the alcohol at the dollar store.) I am purchasing this as a back up as I am also purchasing another Oreck Professional Air Cleaner.
