Easy chemistry.
Car ionizer air purifier is an item that will be great for some people but not for others. We both, in my house, have breathing issues. Asthma and etc.

Without going too deep into chemistry - bad smells (contaminants) are positively charged ions. This car purifier emits negative ions which attach to bad smells and take away the positive charge. Which means, the smell will not smell. These ions will fall to the floor, dash, whatever. If the air is disturbed they will float around again. So, after using this device, it would be a good idea to clean your car.

This sounds like a good device that does clean the air. Clean air is great.

Why is it not for us? This negative ionizer can also make ozone. This is something that that can irritate lungs and cause an asthma attack. I don't know how much ozone this device may produce but I can't take that chance.

If you have no breathing issues, this device will probably work well for you...

Great little gadget
Small and discreet but does a big job!
Great little gadget! Worked great on pet and musty odor. This really does a great job of purifying a vehicle. I used it in my Explorer which has a lot of space to it. It didn't take but a couple hours to get rid of the smell of my boxer and where I had managed to get river water in it after a trout fishing trip.
