The manufacturer recommends replacing the filters on this air purification system twice a year. At six months, i ordered the replacement filters. When the new ones came, I took the old ones out of the machine, and they did indeed look ready for replacement. There were two of them, and they were both covered with grime and dust. I opened the box for the new filters, and noticed they had prongs to indicate they needed to be snapped together. Before I could even look for instructions for assembly, I managed to snap the two filters together and put them into the purifier. I'm not at all mechanically inclined, but the replacement was so easy that i did it in seconds. The machine fired right up, and i am again enjoying air purification in my room.
