One of the units is somewhat louder, emitting some low volume whine. o The capability to program the settings for time and speed is great but be warned that there is no settings backup capability built in. One will lose the settings when the power is disconnected or lost or when the filter has been unlocked. o The manual documents that you can switch between Manual and Programmed mode by touching the PGM key. I found this not to be the case: one can switch from Programmed mode into Manual by turning the machine OFF and ON again but there is no way to go back to Programmed mode, except for going through the entire programming cycle, again. o Alen's customer support is mostly non existent.
