However, before the end of the first day, it began rattling - loudly. It sounded like it was about to explode, so we turned it off. I contacted the seller, who arranged for collection and refunded my money immediately upon receipt, so the customer sales service is also excellent. I am assuming I just got a faulty item, but for the amount charged, I would have expected better longer term use. I may try another one, just to see, but if it is faulty would go for a different brand. I definitely noticed improvement in the air though, very quickly! |
| Love it so far Got this to replace cheaper air purifier I returned and much happier with this model. True Hepa filter much more effective than Hepa Type plastic filters. Generally requires only one filter a year. Washable pre filter traps large particles extending filter life. UV and ion generator makes this excellent all-around filter. Produces neg ions without the overpowering ozone smell (and throat problems) many ionizers have. Extremely quiet even on high. Description says covers 400 sq ft. This seems overly generous. I think 200 to maybe 300 would be more accurate but still a great medium room (multi-room depending on layout) purifier. Easy to use even on high in bedroom without disturbing sleep. Definitely will purchase another after we have had several months to fully test this one. |
