I presumed this would be a bit better fan, as it cost a bit more than the average, but I didn't mind, as I wanted something which would work well and last. Sadly, my expectations exceeded what I received. I pulled it out of the box (reasonably well packaged), and; 1) tried to attach the rollers, only to discover the pin on one side didn't line up with the hold, which was obviously punched off-center; 2) the drum itself if a bit less-than-quality, and apparently dents easily, as there were three dents in the front, and two more in the back; rough handling during assembly/transit/shipping???; 3) was going through the box before I recycled it, only to discover a set-screw; trying to find out where it was from, I found the set-screw was out of the fan hub, which is to say, the fan itself was not even attached to the motor; 4) as the only way to reattach the fan to the motor was to... |
