February 19 2014 For about two months now the filters that are being shipped out are from BulkFilter.com. The BulkFilter.com filters come folded in fourths in a zip-lock bag, is not flat (rises up like a sloppy pyramid), and is just inferior to the official Fellowes filter. The BulkFilter.com fits sloppily on the AP-230 Air Purifier and will fall off the if you don't close the case on the AP-230 fast enough. Very dissapointed. Will the glorious official Fellowes Carbon filter ever return? |

I already knew these filters worked; I bought one several months ago and have been using it since then. My "replace filter" light recently came on, so I went back to my order history and decided I might as well buy two of the same filters this time around, to save time later. The delivery arrived (without a packing slip, for what it's worth). It contained two *different* filters. Both were labeled CF-230, but... > one filter was flat, in a vacuum-sealed package, with all the Fellowes branding, as well as a page of installation instructions > the other filter was folded into fourths and put into a roughly quart-sized zip-top bag bearing an ink-jet printer label that says "BulkFilter.com CF-230 Carbon Pre-Filter" -- and no installation instructions Filters are supposed to be sterile. I'm pretty sure this second one... |
