I noticed after installing the first one I noticed they did not perform like the one I was using. My allergies began acting up and I noticed an odor from the new filter. Thinking there was possibly something wrong, I tried the second one and noticed the same thing. After contacting my local Aerus Electrolux store they asked me to bring the filters in. I brought both filters in and they quickly confirmed these are Chinese knock off filters, the filter material is not the same HEPA material Aerus uses and therefore doesn't perform like it is supposed to. The Aerus store actually exchanged these two knock off filters for Genuine OEM filters at NO CHARGE! WOW! I could tell a huge difference the first 30 minutes after installing the Aerus genuine OEM Air filter. Don't be fooled by the picture the seller is displaying or the product you receive it looks OEM but it is not. Amazon...
