I had no idea these were scented filters. As someone with a sensitivity to smell, I about die every time I vacuum. The smell from the filter is terrible and causes my asthma to flare up. I would not recommend these if you have ANY sensitivity to smell. After the first use, the smell was still in the air when my husband came home from work. His words were "What the hell is that smell! I can't believe you can tolerate that!" I didn't read anywhere on the package discription these were scented. Maybe I overlooked it but who the heck scents hepa filters? Aren't they to REMOVE the smells and allergens from the air? :( HOWEVER, the product works great as it is intended as far as being a filter. I am just going to be on the hunt for unscented from here on out.
