To safely use it requires some understanding though. The hepa filter and additional carbon and ion filters will clean the air in a surprisingly large area. I use it in my garage where I smoke a cigar in the evenings - but I also supplement it with my shop filter system. Prior to using it, the shop system would clean the air but not eliminate the smoke odor. With this little cleaner running, the odor is gone by the next morning. The downside is the fan is too weak for the level of filtration and it does not pull the rising smoke through the filter immediately. I took one star for that. Now for the detail any purchaser needs to be aware of. The ozone generator is really effective in removing odors - but it should not be used when people are in the area. Ozone can irritate the respiratory system. It isn't like you will be poisoned if you enter the room, but it is unwise to run the generator when you are spending time in the affected area. There... |

I really do wonder what the UV light really does, how well all the filters actually work, etc etc. However, what I can say for sure is the unit looks nice, it does clean up the air, and (which I was unsure of initially) does have a true O3 generator. I know some other similar units have removable plates for O3. This one has nothing removable (yay or neh I don't know...) but I can confirm it DOES pump out some O3. So all that being said, I've been wanting one of these purifiers for ages (don't ask me why, just saw one MANY years ago and thought it was cool :P) |
| This is The One You WANT.... !!!! Wow, Amazing, This One Works.... !!!!!!!!!!!!!! We use ours in the bedroom... overnight my wife who has lots of allergies.... awoke the next morning without a stuffy nose, her Hearing was Improved, her vision in her Right Eye Greatly Improved.... Amazing, She felt good for the Whole Day and Night..... We just used the Neg Ion Fan not the Ozone setting. for sleeping... We continue to use Our Enerzen Air Purifier Daily....
