I bought the unit four months ago and for the first three months it seemed to be running great and making enough of a difference in the air that the allergy and asthma sufferers in my home did seem to be breathing easier and experiencing less symptoms. Then one day, while cleaning the unit (I vacuum the sides once a week with the soft brush attachment to pick up large, loose particles and wipe down all hard, smooth surfaces with a soft, damp cloth) I noticed dust was accumulating on the underside of the exhaust vents. This was not normal dust settling down from the air, but dust that was being blown out from the vent with what should be purified air.
