I use it in the room where my cat litter boxes are located and found the overall dust levels to be very low. I use the Auto setting, so it ramps up when the cats are active it the room, and then ramps back down when the dust as been removed. I wouldn't recommend using the Auto setting in a bedroom without using the nighttime/sleep setting. The fan gets a lot louder when it ramps up and would easily wake me up. I'm sure I don't even use all of the features, but am very impressed with the cleaner since I got it ~6 months ago.

Great results & Quiet My dad is an asthmatic... we've been doing everything we can to get his condition under control. this purifiier is a godsend. We are on a ranch.. with so much dust, pollen and such. We went overboard and put this unit in his bedroom even though it's meant for a large living room. It's quiet.... and keeps his night asthma attacks under control. It's a workhorse for us.. and does great!
