Superior I've had my Sun Pur air purifier since 1998. It ran 24 hours a day for 5 years & then all night long (10-12 hours) every night since then. I've never had a problem with it & it's still going strong. This is the best purifier out there, in my opinion. Depending upon where I've lived, its gone as long as 3 years before indicating it was time for a filter change (not including the UV light -but even the light usually lasts 1.5-2 years). I vacuum the front of the unit every few months or so just to help extend the life of the filters. When I bought mine I had major auto immune disorders: chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, full blown environmental illness, asthma, SEVERE environmental allergies, & a host of other health issues. Needless to say, I was barely surviving & unable to function on my own. This purifier helped save my life.
