I have one being used in my bedroom setting it on the night stand with the air blowing towards my pillow area. It does provide a cleaner air pocket to my face while I am sleeping. Before I used to use the floor model type HEPA filter which is fairly noisy and does not really relief me from the pollen or dust while my home HVAC is running when I am sleeping. Since I have this ionic concept air cleaner on my night stand, I felt much better and sleep well. The trick is I have to clean the collector plate about once every 3 to 4 days (I am running it all day & night non stop).
