It have a multicolours LED lightning which is very nice, but you can turn it off and keep humidity running. It's a very nice calming device as you can use scented oil with it. It come with a measuring cups to refill water just the right quantity. It's easy to clean and very easy to use. Just be aware to not overfill it because it'll not be able to boil (ultrasound) water and make humidify fumes. I recommend it for the bedroom or the office.
