Great filter... worth the extra $$$ This filter is has silver in it to kill more germs. I notice that the air is cleaner when it is in use and my allergies bother me much less. The Alen T100 that I have is perfect for a small room. It is relatively quiet (which my wife loves since she is a light sleeper) and has been very reliable. Yes, it costs less to buy the filter without the silver, and that is fine if you are only worried about dust and pollen, but especially when it is cold season why not spend a little bit extra to kill more germs too?
