I usually clean the Truman cells and brush off the dust once a month but this time the charcoal started to fall out. I purchased 2 new charcoal filters for my machines and they arrived quickly. I unwrapped them and inspected them, put one new filter and my old filter side by side and there was no difference between the two of them. I then inserted the new charcoal filters into each Oreck air cleaner. They slid right in and I started them up with no problems. The only problem I had was that the little red light indicator for the filter won't turn off. Great price, good service. Way to go Amazon. Addendum: After inserting the new charcoal filters, we now notice a significant improvement in the air quality of the rooms where the Oreck filters are in. My newer Oreck XL AIRT Series, the one that looks like a big bongo drum, charcoal filter is still looking almost new and will be replaced latter down...
