Very nice! Even better than I had imagined. The first thing I wanted to do was to clean it. It was very hard to separate, but with a twisting, pulling motion, it came apart. It did have some factory residue in the briar wood opening, so I ran a pipe cleaner in and out and wiped it with some wadded tissue. I did the same for the black section. The metal filter appears to be aluminum and will leave a dark mark on tissue no matter how much you rub it... no problem. I put it back together and could barely get a draw through it, so I backed the filter section away from the briarwood section about 1/32" and had a good draw coming through. I think the filter sits too close to the internal opening and cuts off the air flow when it's completely fitted together. Other than that, it was a delightful and easy smoke. I'm very happy with the holder and I'm glad I bought it. |
