After reading the other review, I ordered one of these instead of an ionic breeze. I was so happy with it that I ordered a second one, and then the first one started flashing the blue light (but not turning off). Since the directions are in Japanese I have no clue what this means or how to fix it. That is a little irritating. Having said that, the first unit works like a charm and is on 24/7 and has been for the better part of a year. I have multiple cats and this seems to help tremendously with "that kitty smell". It does not make the air feel fresh and crisp like an ionic breeze would, but then again you are not releasing ions either, which health wise may or may not be a plus depending on what you read or believe. When it first arrived, it was much smaller than I anticipated, but I also like that. The only reason I am giving it four and not five stars is the Japanese directions thing.
