This an attractive and efficient air cleaner. On low it is silent, on medium it is almost silent,and on high it is very very quiet. It is very easy to sleep with this in the room and it does a very good job of removing odors and pollutants from the air. I wont know about the bacteria and virus protection until this winter but with a hepa filter and UV light, I will bet it does well. It is great that you can choose whether the UV is on or not. To set up the unit all you have to do is remove it from the box then take off the front cover and take the plastic bags off of the filters, put the cover back on and you are ready to go.

What are missing from my ideal air purifier include: a) UFPM filtration (smaller than 0.1 micron) b) hydroxyl generation (e.g. Sharp's plasmacluster) c) rated for 500~800 sq.ft. at least Once again, for the price, this unit is on my Wish List now...
