- Price Alert -
The current normal price of these filters is $199 (as of 3/2015).

There is no reason to pay more than that, especially since that is already quite expensive for a filter, even as good as this one is. You should not have to pay shipping either, as it is usually included at that price.

Apparently, IQAir decided to stop selling their filters here on Amazon, so you must go elsewhere. The same applies to their "authorized dealers", which IQAir seems to rule with an iron fist (minimum pricing and such).

These are costly, but effective. I have been a user for 5 years and have replaced three sets of filters already. Do a Google search and you will find normal pricing is available elsewhere.

Original IQ Air HyperHEPA Filter, fits IQ AIR models HealthPro and HealthPro Plus. HyperHEPA air filters effectively remove 99.97% of all dust, pollen, mold spores, pet dander, dust mites, and smoke particles 0.3 microns and larger from the air that may aggravate the symptoms of allergies, asthma, respiratory infections, and bronchitis. Replace this filter every 2 to 4 years.
Really Works, Long-lived
I'm a bit of a snob with regard to mechanical devices, and this filter cartridge, as part of the IQAir system, delivers.
I'm also a bit of a cheapskate. So, swallowing the price of the filters for the IQAir was a bit of a stretch. However, the cartridge has a ridiculously long life (more than a year and a half for us), and the filter's controller keeps track of the particle load and hours of usage, so there's no guessing about when to change the filter cartridge. The controller gives you quick glance, coloured LEDs and, within the menu, precise remaining hours for each filter.
My wife and I are sensitive to airbourne irritants. Meanwhile, we live with a very furry Malinois who sleeps in our bedroom, and we live by wild areas that catch fire fairly regularly.
Nightly, we run the IQAir on a low setting to keep the bedroom air clean. It is noticeably fresher within 5 or 10 minutes. When the skies are full of smoke and ash, we pull the unit to the center of our house and...
Too expensive
This filter is absurdly expensive. But it works well and lasts a long time (about 18 months). But still...it costs 1/4 the price of the whole IQAir air filtering Health Plus machine. This company must be making a lot of money on filters, just like the printing industry is making their money on ink cartridges.
