Nice filter. Fits nice. Made nice.
We've tried several different brands of filters and these ACE pleated air filters are the best we've tried so far. Some inferior filters are either a little too small and either fall out when being installed in ceiling intakes or make a bang sound each time the air handler comes on and sucks the filter to intake, or they're too big and you have to cram them in the opening. These filters fit PERFECTLY. Neither too small nor too big - just right. I assume they filter because they get dirty. :)

The Flanders NaturalAire Standard MERV 8 is made of a one-sided metal-reinforced Pleated media. This filter tests as a MERV 8 rating through ASHRAE 52.2 testing methods. Housed in a 1-Inch recyclable clay-coated moisture resistant frame, the NaturalAire MERV 8 uses a mechanical media that maintains the minimum listed efficiency through the life of the filter. This filter captures particles as small as 1 microns and is effective against the following contaminants: pet dander, mold spores, dust mite debris, pollen, household dust, as well as debris and lint.
Works like it should
12 x 12 x 1 filter came about a centimeter too large, I had to force it into the intake space. It works fine though once I got it in.
