works perfect as DIY home odor filter
This filter is great. i bought it and slapped it on the back of a twenty inch $18 galaxy fan after seeing some youtube video's about making an inexpensive home air filter using box fans.

It takes about half hour, but you'll definitly smell the difference between rooms!
I thought this filter may be a scam at first, seeing as the filtrete filter has humongous carbon particles on it that you can actually see and looks pitch black, while this filter has tiny tiny particles woven into it and looks grey.

I'm happy to say that this filter isn't a scam and works 100%. as an example i just cooked 4 angus burgers on the stove which usually makes my home smell like the backside of a McDonald's and usually takes a day to go away. Carbon Infused Pet Filter Pleated; 20 x 20 x 1
Great value
Pros:
- Works pretty good, definitely traps visible (naked eye) airborne dust (I compared the air on each side with a green laser).
- Fits nicely on the back of a 20x20 window fan

Cons:
- Doesn't catch the finest dust particles (but for the price it still performs very well)
- Can make a rattling noise from the cardboard frame or metal mesh vibrating but can be corrected by pushing it around a little.

I'd definitely recommend it and will buy more.
