I bought this fan for a homemade reptile egg incubator I am building. I have to say it works very well. It moves enough air and seems to be solidly and well constructed. The fan housing is aluminum(not plastic) and I like the way the plug can detach from the fan, making it possible to install and snake the cord through tight places. Perfect item for the job. I can't rate it for it's durability or longevity yet since I have only had it a small time, but so far it's working perfectly |

Containing long life dual ball bearings, the fan can run continuously for 67,000 hours and be mounted in any direction. Includes a 4 foot power cord which allows the fan to be plugged into a standard outlet; and one 92 millimeter metal fan guard. Cooltron fans are certified by CE, UL, TUV, and RoHS; and found in various Samsung and Eaton servers and UPS systems. High Speed High speed fans deliver more air but are louder than low speed fans of the same size. They are more suitable in applications where maximizing airflow is the primary objective and a louder noise level is tolerable. Applications This model can be found in various noise tolerant applications such as casino machines, chicken coops, industrial machinery, arcade systems, and more. A low speed version is also available for quieter applications.seems good so far I bought this fan for the evaporator of a Delonghi Gelato maker - which I bought at Amazon IIRC. It had conveniently died 2 months after the warranty ran out. Most places want $30 for the fan motor, which is probably a complete piece of junk. So I decided to try this. It wasn't an exact fit, I had to fashion a little holder out of some sheet metal scrap, but it works fine, creates a lot of airflow, and the freezer bowl cools at least as fast as it did before. |
| Five Stars Great quiet fan. |
