It is not designed for a single room use….” Once you power on this unit, this becomes abundantly obvious. The fan is loud to be honest; all that air being forced through about 6 inches of filter media makes noise… lots of noise. We are talking microwave loud noise on low… and ramps up to almost carpet vacuum cleaner noise at its highest setting.
