I finally found precaution in a statement about the auto "away" function to that effect in the manual. There should probably be some more precaution in the manual about not being in the room at the highest setting. The lowest setting is really nice with just a small amount of ozone....just makes the air fresh. Perfect for my basement workshop prone to mold and mildew. And you can turn the ozone off and still have the fan on with the hepa filtration and I assume the ionizer too. It is a larger box than I was expecting. Check the dimensions if space is a consideration. The remote control is a nice feature.
