Budget air filter that does the job and appears to be reliable. The unit works well, so no problems with it doing its intended job (purifying the air). The added advantage of a remote could be very useful if the unit was installed in a hard to reach location. I would give it 5 stars except for some design weaknesses. * It is too loud even at the lowest setting. * It requires special filters that cannot be cleaned. Not sure at this point how long the filters last as the replace filter light hasn't come on yet. But its only been in use for a couple of months
