Took out the HEPA filter and attached the new pre-filter on it and placed it back into the unit. The item was delivered before the other items I ordered with it. Very satisfied with the item and the seller (Midwest Appliance Service & Sales). Will order another two right away since I have 2 GermGuardian AC5000E units that are constantly used due to allergies.
