I purchased this Honeywell filter as a cheaper alternative. However, it is clearly not made well even though it is a name brand. For example, there aren't many ridges in the filter (to increase surface area) and the ridges aren't evenly spaced thus they bunch up in a couple areas and wide spacing in others. I can probably try and straighten these out but I'm going back to my regular filters after this. I'm rather surprised at the condition. 04/19/13: I have upgraded my rating from 2 star to 3 star. I am continuing to use these filters as the price is so much less than the more expensive 3M filters. Other ones I have received have not been as bad as the one that prompted the original review.
