The filter I got looks to be just like the original that came with our Hoover bagless. It has the grill to keep the filter from being sucked to pieces. Also it doesn't have the black charcoal layer that seems to also be a problem for some people. And this one doesn't keep popping out. Don't have to use duct tape to keep it in place. This is installed in my Hoover Windtunnel Series T Model UH70120 vacuum.
