Vacuum a time or two before replacing. Not washable. Do a great job! I have a Hunter air filter and this was the replacement part I needed! I think I ordered a couple because they were such a good price. I usually keep a back up or two around the house. You never know when you will realize the old filter just isn't doing the job as well when you tried to burn the house down by burning a pot on the stove and need the house air cleared out, pronto! I usually vacuum mine a time or two before replacing. They are NOT washable.
