We're prepared!! If you've read my reviews before, you know that I live in a busy house with 5 people, 2 cats, and 1 dog. None of us are fans of dust and one of us has pretty bad allergies. I had an air purifier when I was younger and thought that it really made a difference. After being in our new house for a few months, I thought that we should buy a new one. With the dust, pet dander, and daily coming and going, the family room can get a bit over the top! This is also where we come together to play games, watch TV, do homework, and (many times) eat dinner. The cats' litter is just down the stairs from the family room and there can be noticeable odors that seep up. I think you get the point... We bought this purifier because I really like Hoover products. It is a bit on the high end of the market, but it says that it cleans about 310 square feet. Also, it's supposed to be very quiet and has great one-touch technology. I was sold! I have to say that we're very happy with the purifier... |

It looked like a wall air conditioning unit, it's that big. We didn't see any manual with it, but it did come with an extra charcoal filter. We plugged it in and it, whoa! The thing is *really* quiet. So much more quiet than any other air filter I've ever owned. I was really happy with it (for all of two minutes) when I decided to test out some of the features. And that's when the disappointment hit. None of the buttons worked. NONE. I looked online for the manual and we did everything it told us to.
