The "permanent" filter is a bit questionable - yes you can vacuum off the large stuff but does the rest of the filter eventually get clogged? Regardless it is reasonably priced, looks good and so far works well. I have looked for a replacement filter but so far none found. NOTE TO HOLMES - It would be a shame to throw away the entire product for the lack of a filter. Or if this is a disposable product by design then I would not recommend purchasing.
