How To Use Your Smokebuddy I think I remember the original advert for this fine product stating it would hold up to around 250 or 350 uses (though my memory may betray me). I have owned a smoke buddy for nearly 10 months and still use it to this day. Conservative estimates among my friends and myself place total uses well into the 2500-3000 range. Still, when I blow into the buddy, no smoke escapes the other end. Certainly I will concede that it has in some sense "clogged", solely in that it is now more difficult to blow into, not near impossible however. I can give no greater review of any product than the one I can bestow upon the smokebuddy. I believe sincerely the reason for this is due to three things:I have never used the cap, I have never left the smokebuddy unused for longer than a week, and lastly I always blow forcefully through the smokebuddy.
