Great buy for bulk pre-filter fabric
I cannot comment on CAN carbon filters but I have been using CAN pre-filters for all of my intakes since day 1. They have lengthend the life of all of my filters and prevented much of the dust/debri from entering the environment. I like this buy since it provides you with a lot of material to use. I usually just cut this stuff up to fit any intake holes/filters that i currently have. There is very little airflow restriction and i usually dont have to replace them for a few months or at least a full cycle. This stuff is great since i can mount it or hold it in place with Velcro straps or just cut a piece a little larger than the intake hole and the air pressure from the fan will keep it locked (i only apply this method with the weaker booster fans as an inline fan would prob suck it straight through). Would buy from here again.

The pre-filter is the first line of defense against dust and debris from clogging the pores of the carbon itself. Replacement pre-filters extend the life of the Can-Filter. Very low air resistance, Easily changed, Blocks dust and other contaminants from entering filter. A clean Can-Filters Pre-Filter is an excellent way of extending the working life of your Can-Filter.
